Doug Talley Quartet Educational
Activities |

| Doug has taught music in the Shawnee Mission (KS) School
District for over 20 years. He has appeared as guest
lecturer/clinician at the International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE)
national convention, the Kansas Bandmasters Association (KBA) annual
convention, the IAJE summer Teacher Training Institute and served as
director of a student jazz all-star group at the National Association
for Music Education (MENC) national convention. Doug
has served as an adjunct music instructor at Baker University and
MidAmerica Nazarene University and, for 12 years, was a faculty member of the Great Plains Jazz Camp. Doug and the
Quartet are frequently asked to conduct workshops, clinics,
demonstrations and lectures throughout the Midwest. Some of the
